A mixed media artist specializing in props and scenic art, Amelia draws her inspiration from defying expectations, challenging assumptions, and a little bit of Marine Corps honed nonsense. Her love of doing whatever others told her she couldn’t do has led her down paths that have been both rewarding and unexpectedly twisty.

After leaving the Marine Corps, earning a degree in Theatre at University of St. Thomas, and enjoying a career as a props artisan at the Alley Theatre, Amelia now finds herself combining her love and passion for the arts and her need to be of service to her fellow Veterans by serving as Executive Director of Artists in Arms. Through her work with Artists in Arms she is able to share creativity, knowledge, and camaraderie with her creative siblings in arms. Amelia is stoked to be sharing a few of her skills this weekend and possibly collecting some new ones!
