Meg began her journey into the land of textiles at the age of 5. Anything and everything involving threads of all types pulled her into their web. By adulthood, these interests became a full-blown addiction enabled by historical reenactment where she found her true love, 16th century Italian fashion. Now her work has traveled to more corners of the world than she has, including Musée National de la Renaissance, France. Her passion is both creating and enabling others to enjoy their favorite parts of historical fashion.

Meg also owns and operates Tied to History, a web-based vendor of historically accurate (and acceptable!) sewing and embroidery fabrics and notions.
