Join us for two days of in-depth training on the International Technical Rules System, where both fencers and judges will sharpen their skills in bout analysis, scoring, and tactical decision-making.
What You’ll Learn:
Understanding the International Technical Rules System - Learn the key principles that determine the more skillful fencer in a match.
Tactical Decision-Making - Discover how to avoid unnecessary for example double hits and adjust strategy before the penalty occurs.
Video Analysis - Break down real bouts to understand why one fencer won and the other lost.
Judging Fundamentals - Dive into scoring benchmarks, penalties, and tournament infrastructure essentials.
Hands-On Practice - Aspiring judges will score live mock bouts with instructor feedback to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Competitor Optimization - Fencers will engage in live bouts with real-time coaching and post-bout analysis to refine their approach.
Specific Training - competitors and coaches will be introduced to conditioning methods needed to optimize an athletes performance during competition.
Level I Certification - Aspiring judges who meet the required benchmarks will receive a Level I Certification in the International Rules Set.
