En Plen Air, An Historical Watercolor Workshop
Saturday, November 2, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Instructor: Amelia Templeton
Pioneered in the early 19th century, open air painting encourages the artist to paint in situ (inside of the environment they intend to paint) rather than in-studio. Advocates of the technique thought of it as a way to more accurately capture the natural world as it changed due to weather and hour.
Join us in outside of the castle, in the golden light of a Texas autumn morning and learn the basics of en plen air watercolor landscape portraiture.
**Please note: this listing is for a seat in this workshop only. Participants are still required to purchase admission to the tournament.
