Even though Rapier reigned in Central Italy during the 17th and 18th centuries, there can be observed a rising interest in the use of smaller swords, furnished with lighter, shorter blades.
Focus will be on the techniques and tactics from the treatises and manuscripts of the period belonging to the Roman and the Neapolitan schools and traditions.
